½ pounds of beef steak, cut into stir fry sized strips

cloves garlic, minced

c soy sauce

cup water

cup brown sugar
¼
cup cornstarch
½
cup shredded carrots

medium green onions, chopped
cooked
rice or noodles to serve 6
Coat
steak pieces in cornstarch. Add remainder of ingredients to crockpot
and stir well to combine. Place steak into the crockpot and cook on
high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-5 hours. Serve over rice or
noodles.

cans cream of mushroom soup

cup milk

cups frozen peas

cans tuna

cups egg noodles, cooked and drained

T bread crumbs

c. cheddar cheese
1
T melted butter
Heat
oven to 400. Stir the soup, milk, peas, tuna, and cooked noodles
together and place in a greased 9x11. Bake for about 20 minutes or
until hot and bubbling. Top with cheddar cheese. Then stir bread
crumbs into melted butter. Sprinkle crumbs over the top. Put back in
oven for 5 minutes. Serves 6.

medium potatoes, thinly sliced

oz diced cooked ham, chopped in small pieces

c chopped onion

oz shredded cheddar cheese
In
greased 13x9, layer ½ each: potatoes, ham, onion, and cheese.
Repeat except for cheese. Bake covered at 350 for 45 minutes.
Uncover, bake 15 minutes. Top with cheese and return to melt.
Serves 6.
Serve
with steamed broccoli and baked apples (sprinkled with butter and
cinnamon/sugar mixture).

Dip Sandwiches

½ pounds boneless round steak or roast

envelope onion soup mix
1
can beef broth
1
loaf French bread (I use homemade, but it's easy to find at your
bakery.)
8
oz shredded mozzarella
Combine
beef broth and onion soup mix in crockpot. Add roast or round steak.
Cook on low 8 hours. Remove meat and shred. Slice French bread in
half length wise. Layer beef and cheese on the bread. Close the
loaf. Cover with foil. Heat at 375 for 25 min. Slice and serve
with small bowls of broth for dipping. Serves 4-6.

sm can mushrooms, drained

c raw rice

Brown
hamburger and onion. Drain excess fat. Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer until rice is done. Optional: Serve topped with
slivered almonds and sour cream.

oz cooked, cubed chicken breast meat

c red bell pepper, chopped

c red onion, chopped

c torn baby spinach

c Italian blend cheese

t pizza seasoning
Place
pizza dough on pizza pans. Lightly spray dough with cooking spray.
Spread/divide parmesan and garlic salt over each crust. Bake 10
minutes at 400. Spread ranch dressing on each crust. Spread each
crust with chicken, bell pepper, onion, spinach, cheese, and pizza
seasoning. Bake 8 more minutes. Serve 6.

ReplyDeleteI tried the Egyptian Rice, but used turkey and some curry and garam masala to make it Indian. I also put more rice and broth. Everyone liked it.
